Tammy made a comment about getting back to some scripting on her documentary and did the same. This left Maureen with Sinclair on her own. Bolstered by the wine and conversation, she cornered Sinclair.

“I think it’s time you kept your promise,” she said.

“Which promise is that, my dear?”

“I want to see the letter from my father.”

Sinclair seemed to consider this for a moment. After a slight hesitation, he conceded. “Very well. Come with me.”
